OK. Time for an intervention here. I have been faithfully checking this blog daily since Christmas, waiting to see some pictures of my beautiful grandchildren. So why is this #1??? Alice, it makes the news because it's SO INCREDIBLY RARE!!! Really!?! The first case in 76 years? Now, let's get back to the important stuff: pictures of my grandkids!!! mom ;-D
After watching *many* hours of Billy the Exterminator, I am now an expert on the rabies epidemic. First of all, bats are the #3 carrier. You heard me right...#3. The #1 carrier are skunks!! #2 are racoons. I also learned that racoons will rip your face off (Bill's words, not mine) if given the chance. After watching the show, I know can mark LA off the places I can visit.
